The challenge that Climate Change represents, derives in the need of information flows and strategic alliances between organizations. These alliances encourage the exchange of learnings and experiences, for the implementation of actions of restoration and maintenance of ecosystem services in natural protected areas.
With the purpose of extending ties of collaboration, the Organización Vida Silvestre A.C. (OVIS), located in Monterrey (Nuevo León), visited the AMBIO facilities and Scolel'te program plots, to learn about AMBIO's work in Chiapas and generate a possible of collaboration.
La Organización Vida Silvestre A.C. is a non-profit institution oriented to the conservation and sustainable use of species, ecosystems, environmental services, through the administration of resources, as well as environmental awareness in Mexico.
Both organizations seek to develop schemes for the sustainability of restored and preserved areas, as well to share experiences (through exchanges) and analyze the viability of projects that allow the conservation of these areas in the long term.
