Field work planning of the Scolel'te Program.
The Scolel'te Program (operated by AMBIO) held its first technical meeting of the year, with the participation of the Cooperative's staff, as well as community and regional technicians, who presented advances in the monitoring and verification of the plots that were registered 2018.
During the meeting, the results of the implementation of the new technical specifications of the Program were announced, which have been strengthened with satellite data, information on the plots already established in the Program, socio-economic information of the participants, as well as employment of the tool Shamba Tool.
Likewise, there was addressed the need for plot´s and smallholders diversification, that respond to the requirements the of national and international buyers of carbon credits, as well as the commitments they acquire by participating in the Program.
Finally, the planning of activities for the next three months was carried out in a group session, which will consist in the following activities: search of new work areas, training of new groups, preparation of planes vivos, collection of seeds for nurseries and verifications of monitorings.
