{"id":12224,"date":"2023-03-28T21:56:44","date_gmt":"2023-03-29T03:56:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambio.org.mx\/?p=12224"},"modified":"2023-06-06T11:47:22","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T17:47:22","slug":"el-papel-de-los-bosques-en-la-regulacion-de-la-temperatura-global","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambio.org.mx\/en\/el-papel-de-los-bosques-en-la-regulacion-de-la-temperatura-global\/","title":{"rendered":"The role of forests in the regulation global temperature."},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><\/style><div id=\"cmsmasters_row_69e7bd1640ef38_60916150\" class=\"cmsmasters_row cmsmasters_color_scheme_default cmsmasters_row_top_default cmsmasters_row_bot_default cmsmasters_row_boxed\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_row_outer_parent\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_row_outer\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_row_inner\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_row_margin\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_column one_first\">\n<div class=\"cmsmasters_text\">\n<p>Forests are one of the most relevant ecosystems approaches to bring solutions to the impacts of climate change, since they are one of the great sinks of greenhouse gases that cause the increase in global temperature.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:post-content --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph -->The most recent report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcc.ch\/report\/ar6\/syr\/\">(IPCC, Report AR6-2023)<\/a>indicates that the measures adopted so far have been insufficient to address the effects of climate change and that the damage presented will increase in the future, especially damaging vulnerable people and ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph -->Forests are a key terrestrial ecosystem to generate climate change mitigation and adaptation measures. It is also one of the ecosystems most affected by changes in weather patterns.
