Collaboration with the SEMAHN for the donation of plants.

The Secretary of the Environment and Natural History (SEMAHN) is the institution in charge of the management and protection of natural resources in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. For several years now, SEMAHN and the Ambio Cooperative have worked and collaborated together, seeking greater efficiency and impact in the management of resources at the state level.

Under this scheme, SEMAHN and Ambio held a meeting in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, in which the results of last year's collaboration were presented, which consisted of the donation of 35 thousand plants of tropical species such as Bojón, Cedro and Caobilla, which were delivered to 10 communities in the municipalities of Cintalapa, Pijijiapan, Ocozocoautla and Berriozábal, benefiting 100 producers. By carrying out this collaboration, Ambio ensures the establishment and maintenance of these plants, as well as the possibility of joining the Scolel'te program.
