A company or an individual’s carbon footprint can be quantify by their main sources of energy consumption, such as transport or electricity. This carbon footprint can be offset via the purchase of carbon offsets, which are used to fund AMBIO’s reforestation projects.
The Scolel'te program is certified by the internationally acclaimed Plan Vivo Standard. Through Plan Vivo, the provision of ecosystem services is ensured through monitoring, reporting, and validation activities. Simultaneously, best-in-class practices are applied for the delivery of payments and co-benefits for participating communities.
