The contribution that each individual, company or organization has regarding climate change is known as carbon footprint. This footprint can be measured by quantifying our main sources of energy consumption, such as transport or electricity.
The Scolel'te program is certified under the international Plan Vivo standard.
Through the Plan Vivo System, the carbon capture activities implemented by the participants are recorded, monitored, evaluated and reported, to ensure that the work is carried out under transparent and verifiable mechanisms.

We are the only project in Mexico that has the certification of the Plan Vivo Foundation and the verification of the Rainforest Alliance. We started in 1994 and are the starting point and reference point for the other carbon projects on the planet.
